We are happy to provide you with a trial license with all features for 30 days. If you decide to purchase NextTables during or after the trial period, you will receive a new license key. A new installation or configuration will not necessary.
There are no restrictions on the number of users for NextTables. In principle, every user in the SAP system can use NextTables (provided the appropriate authorizations are available).
The number of data records per table is unlimited. For a better user experience, only 1000 data records are transmitted when the table is called up for the first time. However this amount can be increased and appropriately restricted by global filters even before the data is displayed.
A license is always generated for one system. The license includes development, approval, production and the sandbox. If you want to install NextTables from two different productive systems, you need two licenses.
That depends on several factors. If you need a temporary solution for a system that is to be replaced, then the subscription model is of course the better choice. If you want to rely on NextTables for the long term, then the purchase is more profitable. Please note that the purchase also includes an annual maintenance fee of 20% of the purchase price.
Regardless of whether you want to buy a license or try a trial version first, the first thing you will receive is the installation files and a license key to activate. The installation files can be imported by your IT administrators, configured in the back end and activated with the license key. As soon as the authorizations for the admins have been created, you can start connecting tables and filling in data.
You will receive an installation guide with the delivery of the installation files. There is also a detailed Knowledge Base  with additional explanations, code examples and use cases.
Usually a big new version with features is released once or twice a year. There are also smaller versions that contain improvements and bug fixes. It is up to you how often you want to install an update. Since every version always contains all features, improvements and bug fixes, you can skip a version without a guilty conscience.
You will receive new installation files from us, which you can simply import into the system. No further configuration is necessary for updates. No additional costs will be charged.
In the Premium Support Level, we take care of your reported error messages after a defined period of time with an analysis and quickly provide solutions.

The scope of the consulting service depends on your needs.

Among other things, we offer:

  • assistance with onboarding
  • best practice approaches
  • training courses or workshops (e.g. on topics such as how you can expand or replace existing applications with NextTables) as well as the creation of BAdIs

 

Additional consulting services can be booked at any time. We are happy to help you implement your wishes and needs from conception phase until implementation.
Of course it is possible to change your license. If your requirements and needs change over time, just contact us.
Talk to us! Many of our features are based on customer feedback and the direct exchange contributes to the further development of the product. Perhaps your desired feature is already planned for the next version.

A Business Add-In (BAdI) is a possibility provided by SAP to expand applications with the help of ABAP code. With this extension technology individual requirements for the business process can be easily implemented in NextTables. For example, you can use your own search aids or data validations or generally influence the reading and writing process. You can find more details in the Knowledge Base.
